This is me

I'm Anna Kristina, an energetic, colour-loving artist with both Swedish and Finnish roots. Born in Lidköping, Sweden, but have been at home in Finland since 1988. I have always carried a deep love for colours and creativity.

At heart, I'm a true humanist who chooses to see the good in people. Life hasn't always been easy, and as a single mother of five, I've learned to embrace help with gratitude, from unexpected places and unexpected people. That experience has shaped me profoundly, and with it comes a humble wish to give back and help others one day. That's why a portion of the proceeds from my work goes to Plan International.

Sustainability is another cause close to my heart. I strive to offer ecological and sustainable products. It's one of my most important goals for this shop. As my collection grows, sustainability will remain a guiding star in every choice I make.

From childhood, the brush and the pencil were my best friends. Nature inspires me, but so does my inner world: emotions, dreams, and lived experiences. I'm also a citizen of the world who loves to travel, open-mindedly and curiously, collecting impressions from people and places around the globe. My colours know no borders. They feel equally at home under a Spanish sun as in Nordic light.

In 2021, I graduated as a textile designer from Metropolia UAS in Helsinki, and since then, I've been working to finally share my art with the world. I hope to one day live entirely from my creativity and this web store is where it all will start.
